Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige brown head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of peat, very intense. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: very sweet, peated, more peat, gentle roast.

Cloudy beige blond beer, small creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lovely, lots of tropical fruits, juicy, bit dank, floral, little soapy, nice! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, very fruity, juicy, gentle bitterness, hoppy, bit grassy, herbal. Aftertaste: bitter, hoppy, dry, herbal, bit floral, nice bitterness, slightly fruity sweet touch.

This is amazing, tastes close to a barleywine though more roasted. Looks like the BA versions are nuts -- I wish I had seen those. Would definitely seek out more from these Spanish folks.

Draught, half pint. @Singular, Bilbao (Spain). 09/10/2021 [#4.298 Global - #873 Spain - #6 La Pirata] Pours orange with a lingering white head. Aroma: citrus, floral. Taste: lemony and juicy. Hop spice finish. Light boozy. Next one please!
