Originally rated October 2006 at the pub. Pours a golden colour with a slight orange to it. The head leaves a bit of lace and a ring stays around. Very mild fruit perfume aroma. This beer has a thicker mouthfeel than most brews of this type. Grainy start with a fruity finish. Quite interesting and original taste, just a tad light though.

Bottle shared by Shane, thanks! Poured a slightly hazy amber orange with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a good amount of grain and bread with some cookie, caramel, brandy and a hint of light fruits in the finish. Flavor was similar but a bit sweeter with caramel throughout that melded nicely with the brandy and light fruit notes.

Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont, DC 160z tap ($4hh): Pours with perhaps the finest look of any IPA hitherto have seen the insides of my mouth. The head lasts forever and the body is a fine copper amber colour. Aroma of citrus hops, a fine yeast strain, a grass or two, and a caramel malt backbone. Taste is well-balanced and pretty much up the same way as the aroma. Hops are flavorful, but not extreme. Malt backbone is well-balanced. All in all, there was not a single error committed in the making of this beer.
