Aroma has loads of hops, smells like a mix of american, and english hops. a very nice full hop aroma. Flavour is full bodied, and a good malt backbone adds to the beer. A nice dry bitter finish, a very solid IPA.

roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, roasted grains, slight notes of nuts. I’m not a fan of the nitro tap though

nothing special really, another basic, amber ale in a market already flooded with them. some nice hops, a touch of malt, but nothing exceptional.

On Tap at the Mondiale ’07
cloudy brown color. nose is quite malty, with some slight fruit in there. This was served VERY cold, so i feel i’m missing alot of the subtle flavours. a nice bock, good effort.

On Tap, Mondiale de la Biere ’07.
Looks great, dark mahogany, very nice beige head. Aroma is quite fruity, lots of plum, and fig, some apple, also a nice yeasty nose. Flavour is again, fruity, with some nice malt in there. really good balance. This is a great effort for such a new brewpub, very very similar to the king of weizen bock’s the Aventinus.

O:7.77 V:4.88 G:8.04 C:4.88 G:17.25 T:42.8

(Can) Pours cloudy pink amber with good white head. Aroma of raspberries, cooked not fresh, with citrus notes. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation. Taste starts tart and citrusy, softening through the palate. There’s a good raspberry taste. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Caramelised malt and grass aroma. Taste of malt and grassy hops, quite fruity (citrus fruits and tropical fruits), bitterness, and long lasting grassy-fruity aftertaste.

750ml bottle that pours a slight hazed, golden colour with very active, tiny bubble carbonation. The head is big, frothy, a little off-white with decent retention and some light soapy lacing. Lots going on in the nose, and not overly powering. Blended fresh herbal notes with caramel malts, some prunes, hints of wood and vanilla. In the taste, apples come out, blending with the light caramel, some mild grassiness in the finish, creating decent dryness. The wild yeast and Pinot Noir are well-hidden in here, just adding a nice touch, but not much funkiness. A very easy-drinking, not too punchy Wild Ale with lots going on, but all on the mild side.
