Draft at Farnam House. Caramel color liquid. Aroma is malty, caramel/ toffee. Weak yeast.

Flavor doesn’t remind me of a Keller I ever tried. The German lager yeast is here but it is very sweet. Caramel and yeast is in balance. Not hard to drink or displays any issue. My beef with it is the style definition. Lots of lingering yeast and it’s simple to drink, ok.

Draft at Farnam House. Almost clear yellow, no head showed as it got to the table. Aroma is tart lemons, sour wheat, lactic acid.

Flavor shows the lactic acid with tart lemons in the finish. The tartness dies pretty quickly after the swallow. This is a nice brew to introduce a friend to the style. Not overdone tartness and I killed the sample quick. Nice.

Draft at the source. Aroma is light lambic/ funky ass yeast with cherry juice. The flavor is that of a sour Kriek. The cherry is thought the center with a very sour/ vinegar finish. Too much tannic and vinegar hints for my palate.

Draft at Farnam House. The color reminds me of grapefruit juice, hazy yellow. Aroma is Brett with mild traces of citrus.

The flavor shows a strong amount of Brettanomyces with rustic grain and mild citrus toward the finish. Body is medium with a somewhat dry texture. Pretty nice Brett saison with Brett being the main players in this performance.

Flavor is lean, mild grain center, hops come off floral and herbal. Finish has a slight herbal tingle after the swallow. Pretty straightforward.

Draft at Farnam House. Pale blonde in color, light soapy head. Aroma shows me very mild traces of grain and yeast. Very light.

Flavor has a weak rustic grain center with an extremely light body and mouthfeel. Dangerously close to watery but no real issue drinking it.

Draft at Farnam House. Cloudy bright yellow. Aroma light wheat, Belgian yeast, subtle pepper.

Flavor follows the aroma with citrus peel through the center. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Finish has some lightly lingering pepper or coriander seed. The spice is subtle and doesn’t overwhelm the tastebuds.

Draft/Fest. A- Banana, wheat. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, minimal head. T- Banana, wheat, bubblegum. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- This tasted like a combination of a hefe, wit, and strong ale. Very different. Certainly not true to the style.

Draft. A- Lemon, spices, wheat, slightly sour, subtle hoppiness. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Lemon, spice, wheat, funk. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly sour finish. O- Considered it’s called hop harvest I expected a bit more bitterness but it was otherwise a generally bland saison.
