Description
INNOVATION + CREATIVITY
Prairie Artisan Ales is small third wave brewery from Oklahoma. Since our founding in 2012, we have brought a unique perspective to brewing. Sometimes that means big bold barrel aged stouts and other times it means super crisp and funky farmhouse ales. Every beer we brew is wrapped in unique, expressive, and interesting art. The experience is unlike any other you can find in beer.

Bottle from The Star & Garter, Bromley. Drank on the big day itself π π₯³ π ! Aromas of coffee, smoke, bourbon, dark chocolate, chilli pepper. Smoky sweet taste of the above. Subtle chilli heat. Really smooth. Top stuff.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville California. Pours rather dark pink with a transient white head. Aroma is very Concord grape. Medium body. Itβs rather tart/sweet. Flavor is definitely Concord grape, but there is a good dose of both ginger and lime. Interesting and refreshing drink.

Dark brown. Thin head. Aroma mostly of pbc2, some vanilla. Thick body, itβs fine, but the pbc2 thing just makes it a waste. It's not balanced.

12 oz. bottle, pours jet black with lots of coconut resting on top with a small head. Aroma is dominated by intense coconut upfront, followed by deep almond, some Oreo cookie, and soft barrels in back. Flavour is very dessert-like and intense, with huge coconut upfront, followed by almost-as-intense almond, chocolate cookies, and soft bourbon barrel to round things out. Sweet but not cloying coconut, almond and chocolate bomb in that order. Canβt really say this is complex; but the adjuncts are high-quality and extremely well-balanced, and there is enough malt to serve them all up. Very tasty BA pastry stout.
