32oz crowler pours with a nice dark body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The mild aroma offers up chocolate and a hint of caramel and dark roasted malts. The taste delivers up a nice load of chocolate flowing into thin caramel drizzled over highly roasted malts. Nice flavor depth for a low ABV beer.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky purple gray colored body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up berries and faint cantaloupe. The taste delivers an initial blend of dark ripe berries, cantaloupe and honeydew. To midway the modest blackberry note grows in juiciness just as thin layers of cracker like oat are noticed. It becomes a little more bitter toward the finish with citrus hops and mildly bitter berry notes. This is working well and really easy drinking.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits dark mahogany colored body that supports a nice tan head of foam. The aroma offers up muted malt infused cherries and chocolate. The taste delivers thin dark roasty malts, thin chocolate and then a smooth malty sweet ripe cherry like note. Toward the finish it picks up a mild level of nuttiness. Pretty nice but could have the cherry dialed back to allow more of the other notes to shine through.
