Tap @ Både &. Hazy, yellow orange body with a small white head. Aroma is super fruity with citric, peach, grapefruit and apricot. Flavor is also very fruity like aroma with some zesty bitterness. Medium to light bodied and fruity aftertaste with a little hint of grassy bitterness. Nice and easy thirst quencher.

Bottle sampled January 2019. Pitch black body with a moderate sized, dense beige head. Delicious aroma of smooth roasted, dark malt, express coffee, dark chocolate, dry fruit, toffee and warming alcohol. Flavor is very sweet, dark roasted malt, strong but smooth coffee, chocolate, dry fruit, molasses, brown sugar, good bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. It’s a really sweet one, but somehow the bitterness and alcohol seems to cope very well with this. I find it remarkable nice and highly enjoyable. Some like to compare this with the Dark Horizon beers, I think this is too different to make any compartments, just enjoy this as it is.

Tap @ Både &. Rather hazy pale golden body with a huge, creamy white head. Strong and really refreshing in aroma, citric fruit, spicy saison yeast, peppery and hint of esters. Flavor feels sweet without really being sweet, pale malt, citric fruit, oranges, smooth pepper, hint of lemongrass, fruity bitterness and faint hint of ester with almost undetectable alcohol, just like a warming vinous touch down the throat. Fine body and long lasting fruity, floral aftertaste. Like an imperial sasion with a distinct Belgium touch.

Tap @ Både &. Pitch black body with a medium sized, lacing beige head. Lovely aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dry fruit and some warming alcohol. Flavor is more than less exactly like aroma, dark roasted malt etc. and god balanced bitterness. Compared with Nøgne Ø imperial stout (that's a quite natural comparison) this is less sweet, more dark chocolate flavor, thinner body and all over feels a bit less robust and easier drinkable. I actually prefer the complexity from the Nøgne Ø version but there will be occasions where I will see the advantages of a lighter version, ie it’s lighter - not light.
