Bottle from the brewery. Malty nose, caramel, minerals, grassy, earth hops. Medium sweet, then finishes rather dry. Minerals and earth. Decent but not as good as their lagers.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a Weiss glass. Cloudy light orange with medium white head. Aroma is nice clove & banana, medium body, well carbonated, and pretty good lacing. Taste is banana, clove, and some bread. Carbonation died a little early, otherwise top notch.

Bottle: Clear, dark amber with a HUUUUGE light tan head. Toffee, baked nut-bread scent. Flavour is smooth, rich toffee malt, nuts, cola. Almost a little chocolate-note. Really wonderful.....nicely rich. The only drawback (sorta) is the giant, ridiculous head.....took about 30 separate pours into my Kolsch glass to finish the bottle.....took forever....but, I guess that let me savour it more....worth it.

Draft at West rail Tap & Grill. Weak head, cloudy golden body, normal weisse aroma and taste. Pretty decent approximation of the style, except for the appearance.

On tap at the brewery. A crisp and clean Pilsner with the hops providing a floral/herbal palate cleansing bitterness.
