The name Oxbow is inspired by the bends in these rivers, the Dyer in particular, which features stunning horseshoe-shaped oxbows where the river covers tremendous ground to travel what could otherwise be a very short linear distance. We employ a similar approach when crafting our beers, taking months or years to create a beverage that is commonly produced in a matter of days.

Bottle in Vail, shared with Jetson for Christmas. Thanks to lukaduke! Fucking gusher. Pours a hazy golden orange appearance with an off white head. Juicy orange, mango, grapefruity, pineapple, a bit grassy, slightly oaky aroma. Tart tropical fruity, quite pineapple bretty, oaky, fairly sour, vanilla flavor with a tangy, quite sour finish. Pretty tasty.

Bottle in Vail, courtesy of lukaduke. Pours a glowing orange appearance with a white head. Herbal, chewy hay, barnyard, wild cheesy, parmesan aroma. Tangy, very funky, cheesy, tart tangerine, wet horseblanket, somewhat herbal, bretty, a bit smoky, dry vinous flavor. Cheesy, funky, and wild. Not my favorite but loads of fun to try.
