Armsby draught, 3/29/26.
Was ready for this one to be quite sour, but it's nicely balanced in the nose with more wood, medium malt-derived fruitiness and well-aged lacto character. I don't get the cherry wheatwine thread at all, which is probably for the best, as that one was a bit on the too sour side.
Soft, with wheat, barrel tannin and well-aged cultures providing mild lactic and light Brett notes. No harsh/cringey sourness and there's a gentle sweetness from the malt to soften everything. Tart, malty, fruity. Cohesive and balanced if a bit unremarkable.

Armsby draught, 3/29/26.
Just an absolute force of Brett. And it's playful and fruity, not overdeveloped. Mixes with the authentic blueberry to give some tannin and soft funk/earth/pepper. Soft, rustic malts show light honey, cracker, biscuit. Low but ample acidity.
Fruity and mildly tart in flavor. Lots of Brett with well-attenuated fruit giving no excess sugar. Malts show just enough depth but leave the beer lighter and drinkable. Fruit is fantastic and I like that the blueberry is more prominent, contributing to a less acidity overall. After what seemed like a devolution in to very sour beers, Oxbow feels back to its roots with mildly tart beers. Haven't had a cringey sour from them in forever.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: dark yellow to copper color with some transparency and a two and a quarter fingers of white foamy head which seems a bit rocky all over but it takes it's time to dissipate and once it does, lots of messy lace all over
Aroma: sweet grains/some sweet wheat, super light mixed citrusy notes, subtle freshly cut grassy hops coming forth in a semi-spicy sort of way
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bready maltiness with a nice entrance of the Noble hop spiciness creating a very nice balance; finishes semi-bitter with an even slighter dryness with some sweet grains
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; light amount of smoothness and a little bit of spiciness from the hops trying to clamp down a little bit on the tongue - nothing overbearing - just noticeable
Overall: a very nicely done Euro pale lager I would welcome again.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown in the pour but leaves more of a black color in the glass with a lasting finger's worth of tan foamy head head and that took it's time to dissipate then leave a little bit of lace
Aroma: dark chocolate, cocoa powder, black coffee, earthy sweetness, light notes of char and a touch of toast
Flavor: leans towards the dark chocolate & cocoa powder with the black coffee tones; finishes semi-dry through the coffee, and cocoa powder notes
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, smooth with appropriate dryness, good carb level
Overall: nicely done Irish dry stout worth coming back to.

Appearance: cloudy yellow pale color with a quickly dissipating frothy white head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: light Brett/sour notes, some citrusy hop tones, light oak sweetness with rounded tones of some mineral water then sweet woody aspects
Flavor: leads with a subtle sweetness then a light tart and sour fusing from under; finishes somewhat citrusy sweet with an ample tart to sour brushing
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; some smoothness to it
Overall: nicely done saison I'd be willing to partake in again.

Appearance: copper to dark orange color with a finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: starts with some black pepper and a touch of more of a crushed coriander tone then some honey with some wet hay scents then some orangey whiffs
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine semi-spicy to bitter sort of quality underscored by a little bit of the honey; finishes the same way
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some smoothness but also a touch of dryness
Overall: pretty good saison I believe I could come back to.

Appearance: copper color with an ever so slight transparency along the sides of the glass with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy to piney hops with a touch of floral and a light woody tone to them as well; slight malty backbone - somewhat bready
Flavor: wraps up the prior noted aromas to a fine semi-sweet to slightly bittersweet quality; finishes leaning into the malts and a little bit of non-distracting dry note
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability; good smoothness, good level of carb to this
Overall: I liked this one for me and would welcome it again.
