Description
Latin American, Made in Xicago
The vast and delicious cuisines of Central and South America hold a treasure trove of flavors, aromas and textures, much of which feels right at home in a well-made beer. We combine these ingredients and ideas with our own experiences to make subtle and deeply delicious beers, not mere novelty items. Each beer speaks with our voice and adds to the story. We put the best ingredients together so that the whole beer adds up to much more than the sum of its parts.

Bottle thanks to Kyle. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong cocoa, roast, fudge, spice. Slick body, dark chocolate, spice, fudge, nice spice and sweetness, easy to drink hiding alcohol well, really enjoyed this.

Draft at Mariano’s. Reddish body with a thin layer of foam. Does not look that much like a Belgian quad. The nose has some nice fruit cocktsil to it, follow by what I thought would be banana esters. Ths before I knew exactly what beer tis was, I only had had the name on the tap handle to go by. So my thought was that it has character of a dunkelweiss, Big and malty with a fruit palate, and a bit of hop spice. Nice Christmas beer, with alcohol warming coming right at the end.

Dark brown coloured body with a small tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, caramelised sugars, earth, toffee and a touch of light chiles as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong roasted flavours of malt, sugar and a bit of grain along with some very subdued and stale hop flavours and the slightest bit of heat noticeable. Aftertaste shows some grain, toffee, light lactose and a hint of coffee bitterness as well. Overall, not a horrible beer, and while not a great option given Chicago’s offerings, not as bad as other 5 Rabbit beers I’ve had. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Chicago (Streeterville location), Illinois on 13-Nov-2015 for US$2,49 sampled in my hotel in Streeterville, Chicago on 15-November-2015.

12oz bottle. Hazy unfiltered pink orange body. Light to medium bodied, thinnish. Prickly pear is a fun ingredient, but it is pretty subtle. A little dry, aspirin. I think these work better on tap, not sure about their bottle conditioning. OKish as is, for a fruit beer of 2016. Syrup based, boring backbone.

Bottle share in the hotel lobby, RBWG, 01/02/16. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is chocolate, light spice, roasted notes, charr, dark toffee fudge. Taste comprises dark chocolate, peppery spice, chocolate cake, cookies, light roast malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok impy ... lacks depth for the ABV but drinks along nice and easy.
