12 oz bottle shared by Willrunforbeer, thanks! Aroma is melted caramel candy, light cherry skin, plenty of sugar. The body is slightly above medium with a creamy texture. Nice feel, the cherry is in the finish and not over done. More natural flavor which is a huge plus. Nice stout.

Molasses and coffee nose, moderate strength. Ruby black, thick tan head, nice lacing. Suprisingly dry and chalky. Creosote, charcoal. Light body, moderate carbonation. Bone dry, like colored, bitter seltzer. Maybe it’s just too old.

12 oz. bottle thanks to Brian for this spilt. Hazy orange color, nice lacy head retention. Aroma is a good level of pine and light floral hops with traces of malts.

Mouthfeel is a chewy malt yeast like feel. The bitterness is fairly moderate with a mix of the pine and floral hops. Almost astringent bitterness. Overall if we were playing golf, this would be par for the course. Not bad. And I got to say I love the label!!

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/22/15

Aroma: It has a strongly sweet citrus and caramel aroma, with some resiny notes
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a small beige head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: Tastes along the same lines, some sweetness, and a strong bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, with a soft to average carbonation, and a heavy dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a solid one, but not an amazing one. The hops are certainly here, but not to the extent that I wanted them to be. There's just something that doesn't exactly work quite right.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow to orange color with a one finger foamy white head that dissipates within a quick minute leaving a rocky messy speckling of lacing.
The smell had a sharp bitter lemon rind followed by a slight grassy hops.
The taste was mainly bitter through the lemon rind and left a lingering dry bitter aftertaste. There’s no finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. That’s if one wants to drink a super dry APA.
Overall, I say this was an okay session APA. It’s not exactly balanced as I was hoping. Might have again depending upon what else is served.
