A hazed amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, lightly lactic perfumey malt with light funk, herbs, coriander, quite noce. In mouth, a smooth sweet malt with nice curacao, coriander, sweet creamy mouthfeel, nice. On tap at Bieres et Saveurs, Sept. 3 2011.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus finish.

An orange amber with a thick lacing moka head. A pleasant pinhey hops, biscuitty malt, grassy and smooth. In mouth, a nice herbaceous and roasted malt with smooth american and British hops, quite good. On tap at Bieres et Saveurs 2011, Sept 2 2011.

Bouteille 750ml, "Grande Réserve" vieillie 4 mois en fût de chêne. De couleur ambrée-brune foncée et claire. Nez boisé (fût de chêne), malté de caramel toffee sucré, moyen de fruits (prunes sucrées, traces de pruneaux et de raisins) et de vanille avec des notes d’alcool liquoreux, de miel et d’herbes. Moyenne-ronde en buche avec un pétillement moyen-bas et une texture légèrement liquoreuse et aux petites notes huileuses. Moyen goût fruité (prunes sucrées, léger de dates, traces de raisins) accompagné d’un goût de vanille et d’un goût boisé (fût de chêne) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel toffee sucré avec notes rôties et terreuses ainsi qu’un léger goût de miel et de notes de pain grillé. Parallèlement, un léger goût d’alcool réchauffant s’installe jusqu’en finale où l’on y retrouve également une légère amertume de houblon herbeux, des traces de noix grillées ainsi qu’un léger regain de goût de fût de chêne et des traces de fumée de bois. Post-goût moyen-long, légèrement amer de rôti, d’alcool et de houblon herbeux avec un léger goût boisé (fût de chêne) et fruité (pelures de prunes).

Bottle thanks to Arch. Pours dark brown. Tan head. Nose/taste of honey, sweet caramel, florals and light scotch. Honey really shines through in the finish. Medium body.
