Description
DAVO is ontstaan in 2012, vooral om onszelf van bier te voorzien. We brouwden toen, jawel, in pannen. Inmiddels zijn we uitgegroeid tot een team van 50 gepassioneerde bierliefhebbers, een brouwerij en drie bars: DAVO Deventer, DAVO Arnhem en DAVO Zwolle. Voor de rest is er niets veranderd. Nog steeds werken we elke dag keihard om fijne bieren te maken, te delen en te drinken. Met liefde en nog meer plezier. Zodat we kunnen proosten met lekker bier en leuke mensen. Gegarandeerd.

Bottle [from trade with RW80] shared with Marte. Clear amber color, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, sugar lightly. Not much more to it really. Ok. 6-3-6-3-12.

Bottle shared at kermis’ birthday. Clear mahogany with beige head. Sweet banana and apple, toffee, booze, light plastic and dead yeast, brown sugar, bitter herbs, some vanilla, brown bread. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied with oily feel.

29 mar 2019 Bottle at Bierproefavond DAVO bieren - Wijnhuis Ede. Same as in november 2018. Overall 0.1 point higher Older tasting note - 21 nov 2018: Bottle. Color: Very hazy reddish brown, thin off-white head. Aroma: Sweet and sour, red fruit, vanilla, wood. Taste: Alternating flavours of moderate sweet and moderate sour cherries, notes of wood and sweetish red wine. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Light hints of vanilla. Medium body, below average carbonation. Pretty nice. 3.7

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 20/11/2018 at «Mout Proeflokaal», Groningen (The Netherlands). Slightly hazy golden colour with a medium head. Aroma is soft malts, citrusy hops, yeast and grapefruit. Taste is citric and soft bitter leading to a slightly fruity finish. Next one please!

Draft at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam. Hazy golden orange with a thin off white head. Aroma of yeast, herbs, coriander, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter.
