Bomber from CraftShack. Pours rather black with a small dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate with some bourbon lite. Near or Full body. Flavor is dark, dark malt, whiskey, chocolate, anise, vanilla. Fair amount of bourbon here. it’s quite malty, but the whiskey and chocolate help keep it from being excessively sweet. It’s pretty much whiskey, earthy chocolate, malt and anise in the finish. Quite nice.

Bomber from Craft Shack. Pours translucent/hazy gold with a white head. Very mango aroma. Med body. Flavor is mango with some tart citrus. Mango is a bit perfumy. Tangerine follows slowly. Rather refreshing. Would be a magnificent lake/pool beer.

Bomber from Craft Shack. Pours dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of cherry, lactic, and dark malt. Med body at least. It’s a bit different. The carbonation is spritely, and the cherry is rather sweet - not cooking cherry at all. Flavor wise it is sort of milk chocolate cherry. One of my favorite combinations. Not at all dry. Not very bitter, if at all. Yet there’s a cerise colored fruit flavor that really reaches to me. And there’s something like sucking a cherry pit. This is really an example of where beer can go to weird places. With time it goes somewhat earthy. Yet the cherry is always there, as is the chocolate. I have no idea what to do with this, except acknowledge I find the flavor interactions to result in a fun, enjoyable drink. Pair this with Godiva?

9th Feb 2017: large sample at the brewery (the server didn’t want us to leave). Hazy dark old gold body, off-white topping. Strangest Dunkelweizen I have ever had and I didn’t really take to it, the Peanut Butter just refused to blend in well with the base beer in my opinion Prefer my Peanut Butter on toast, not in my beer. Scored objectively.

On tap at the brewery, 9 oz pour on 9th Feb 2017. Reddy brown body, with a beige head. Malty molasses lead the aroma and taste in this semi-sweet brew, caramel notes alongside dates and prunes compliment each other in the flavours, decent beer all round.

Third beer, 5 oz pour on my flight at the brewery on 9th Feb 2017. Light gold in colour, white head on top. Orange esters and flavours rule this fairly sweet, fruity number. Not usually a citrus flavoured beer man, but although this had hints of lemons and other ’less sweet’ citrus notes the sweet orange flavour dominated and my sweet tooth liked it.

5 oz pour on my flight at the brewery on 9th Feb 2017. Misty old gold body, white topping. Piney hops lead the way in this brew, more citrusy in the nose than in the taste: this is where the piney hops take over. Light sweetness, but the hops rule the roost overall.

First 5 oz pour (as Golden helles Lager) on my flight at the brewery, 9th Feb 2017. Very pale with a wispy white head. Fairly sweet with a malty base. I had walked out the mile plus from town and this was an ideal refreshing start to my flight of their lower ABV selection beers. No strong flavours, but decent enough for a thirsty man.

Last 5 oz pour on my flight at the brewery on 9th Feb 2017. Light amber in colour, white crown. Malty with a fruity marmalade aroma and taste, spicy traces within the semi-sweet marmalade flavours: nice.
