(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, dark brown with a reddish hue and a light brown head. Fairly smoked aroma. Medium body with dry, burned malt accents and a distinct, smoked edge. The finish is dry but not very bitter. Quite interesting. 180907

Dark color. Light aroma of chocolate, with some roated malt. Dry mouthfeel, with a dry flavor of chocolate malt and roasted malt. Even if not my style, I have to say that it’s balanced and well brewed.

Furthermore’s second best beer. Aroma of a barnyard, very Belgian in character. Flavor has lemon and lots of hops blended with spices. Refreshing and easy to drink. Aroma leads the drinker to believe it might even be sour but it doesn’t get there.

Very ordinary. Light hops in the aroma, and a mildly bitter flavor with more light hops. Gold color with little carbonation. It does have decent palate.

Interesting. A very dry ipa. Not especially bitter and the hops are not so prominent, but this is very dry, one of the driest beers I have ever had. Standard gold color. It reminds me of a Belgian ale.

I would say this is a smoked. There is significant smoked character in the aroma and flavor. Smoky aroma witih light coffee. Flavor has more smoked peat, with some coffee and dry malt. Black color. My first beer from Furthermore and I am impressed. The low price is nice as well.
