This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a full white one finger’s white foamy head that dissipates ever so slowly. Gentle stringy lace.
The aroma takes in sweet grassy to dirty earthy hops (reminiscent of a Czech pilsener). Cracker to biscuit malts in the background.
The flavor brings those previously mentioned flavors to blend nicely. Super light hop aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a clean sweet to bitter sessionability about it. Carbonation rides light.
Overall, really nice APA, definitely would have again if I could get it.

The appearance was a fairly transparent red color with a less than a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Dissipation is moderate and nice. Spotty lacing.
The aroma starts with some dried grapefruit rind-like hops and then gently flows in a caramel malt balance. Subtle grassy hop character gently infuses as it warms.
The flavor balances nicely between caramel malt and grapefruit rind bitterness. Well balanced malt to hops aftertaste strolls into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a clean semi-sweet to bitter sessionabililty about it. Carbonation feels good with some touch of prickliness from the bitter hop component.
Overall, for the most part, it’s a pretty good AIPA. I could see myself coming back to this.

Bottle: Clear copper with a small off-white head. Caramel, roast aroma. Taste is rich caramel, a hint of peanut..... A husky, oily, earthy bitter. Nice body.... Very enjoyable.

Draft: Hazy copper-brown with a light tan head. Caramel, peat scent. Caramel malt, nuts, toffee flavour. Very nice body....enjoyable.

Draft: Hazy, dark yellow/amber with a small, off-white head. Herbal, hoppy aroma...grain aroma. Floral,herbal hop, light caramel malt flavour.... APA-like....grassy bitter.....a little peppery. Different for the style, but pretty nice.

12 oz. bottle. Hazy, pale gold color, with a small, bubbly, white head. The nose is musty straw, ripe apples, whole grains, and light cloves. Sweet and lightly hopped. Light body, crisp, and a bit syrupy. This is a pretty nice, easy pilsener.

On tap at the Grant restaurant in Yellowstone, in the little bar off to the side, called the Seven Stool Saloon. Pours a pale, hazy, yellow color, with a small, fleeting, eggshell head. The nose is biscuit dough, earthy and floral hops, candy orange slices, and whole grains. Sweet and yeasty, with a mild bitterness through the finish. Mild, easy, bitter aftertaste. Light to medium body, creamy feel, and lightly carbonated. This is a simple and straightforward beer, but refreshing and well executed.

Crisp clear light copper and honey coloured body with a nice and smallish two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of a lot of caramel, some earthy malt, a touch of grass, a little soap and a hint of floral and perfumey hops. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavour up front with hardly any malt at all, some light sugars and very little else - a touch of hops. Aftertaste is pretty mellow as well with a little grassy herb flavour, some stale hops and a bit of grain. Overall, not such a great beer and definitely missing a few aspects to make this decent, but sadly, still nice for me to try given it’s a long way from home, and it’s a local beer, but if you can get this beer and others regularly, pass this one up, this isn’t worth your hard-earned money! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Vintage Sellers in Great Falls, Montana on 20-June-2016 for US$1,75 sampled at home in Washington on 16-July-2016.

Pours a clear light gold with plenty of foam and it leaves a lot of lacing behind.
Very hop forward and you know what I dig? It smells like some noble hops going on like what you expect from a finely brewed Czech Pils! Earthy malt backs it up.
Tastes hoppy on the dry side, light bitterness, a degree of dankness, earthy malt that doesn’t bring a whole lot of sweetness. More of a cracker character. Quite good tasting overall but that nose. ..
Low side of medium bodied and fairly light carbonation.
Geeze this is so good and so drinkable. Prost to that Growler station! !
