Description
Freedom’s Edge Brewing Company has been brewing up tasty craft beer in the heart of downtown Cheyenne since 2012 making us the oldest operating brewery in the Capital City. As of February 2020 we are proud to say we are under NEW OWNERSHIP, officially making FEBC a locally owned and operated brewery. Joel Emerick & Eric Kilmer are grateful for our business past and now they’re ready to make history taking FE to the next level where their passion for building within the community will truly shine; building new recipes, new relationships and new memories.

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a dark orange apearance with a tan head. Spicy resiny hoppy, orange citrusy aroma. A little goopy. Grapefruit citrus flavor. Kind of syrupy. Moderately sweet and bitter. Pretty balanced. Not bad. 8.5%

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a black appearance with little head. Aroma has a little bit of code, milk sugar, chocolate, and earth. Flavor isn’t too sweet. Done anise and earthy notes. Dull carbonation. OK.

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a deep brown / black appearance with no lasting head. A lot of vanilla and chocolate and burnt sugar in the nose. A little watery but still kind of syrupy which is strange. The vanilla is nice in the flavor though the beer is kind of one dimensional. Moderate sweetness. Low bitterness. Light anise. Eh.

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a dark orange appearance with a khaki head. Definitely some toffee, vanilla, and sugary dessert notes in the nose, though not in a bad way. Kind of high sweetness. Orange candy fruity flavor. Caramel, brown sugar flavor. Not horribly sweet. A bit medicinal. OK.

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a touch hazy rust orange appearance with a white head. Sweet doughy, caramel aroma with a little bit of earthy notes. Kind of watery. Doughy, chewy grainy flavor. A little toffee. Dull bitterness. My least favorite here so far.

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a milky light yellow appearance with a thin white head. A bit dusty / chalky yeast in the aroma with some lemony citrus. A bit thin. Slightly tart lemon flavor. Soft mouth feel. Low bitterness and sweetness. Again, like some others here, it’s fairly clean but kind of lifeless.

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a lightly hazed, dull golden orange appearance with an off white head. Grapefruit and orange citrus in the nose. Moderate bitterness. Light sweetness. Somewhat spicy hops in the flavor. A little bready. Inoffensive but a little boring.

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a but hazy yellow appearance with little lasting head. Aroma direct have a ton going on though there is a bit of toast and Lennon. Nice pepper flavor. Mild heat. Little veggie flavor. Probably wouldn’t be bad for a pint but besides the peppers, it’s otherwise kind of boring.
