750mL bottle, pours a syrupy jet black with almost no head. Aroma is full of maple syrup, rich coffee, and some dark sugars. Flavour is extremely rich, with tons of maple syrupy and coffee intensity, wjth dark sugars. Very syrupy, oily finish. Good but rather brutal and lacking depth.

750ml (thx, Brent L.!) @ Black Christmas 2023 at Heritage Hall. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: maple syrup bomb, to me it smells identical to Mornin' Delight. Taste: along the same lines, lots of maple syrup, BUT... There is a very big BUT. It has a very nice integration with coffee and chocolate and the sweetness is just in the appropriate level. Overall: surprisingly nicely balanced and good for a maple surprisingly hater.

Bottle. Pours black with small tan head that lasts and coconut flakes. The aroma is intense toasted coconut, bourbon, chocolate, wood. Thick, chewy, coconut, milk chocolate, boozy, enjoyed this.

Can drunk 10/1/23. Dark, thick. Small tan head quickly to edge. Nose is heavy, crunchy, roasty coffee with a nice fruitiness to it. Bit of char and light vanilla with a hint of barrel. No booze. Not sugary. Soft, fluffy, lightly roasty, rich dark chocolate, light vanilla. Man, it's crazy the difference even a thread addition of BA stout makes. This is worlds better than any non-BA vibes. Just doesn't have that overwhelming sugar. Still a big difference between this and a full BA beer, though, IMHO.

750mL bottle drunk 10/1/23. Clear, dark, immediately fizzling bubbles. Whew lots of maple, lots of coffee. Fruity, crunchy, toasty. Licorice. Gonna be boozey I think... Maple, spicy, sweet, fruity coffee, low roast, heavy licorice but no booze thankfully. Not as sweet as coconut vibes but yeah, these need the barrel. It's just too much sugar and roast without it. Too strong.
