ABV: 14.1%. Clear dark black brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, maple syrup - molasses, tobacco, vanilla, cinnamon, barrel. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, vanilla almost tonka like, chocolate, dark malt, vanilla, tobacco, cinnamon, bourbon - barrel, maple - burnt maple bitter, rich, heavy. IMO: a bit unbalanced because of the spicy - cinnamon and maple burnt - biter. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240313]

375 ml bottle split at Brewdog, Bristol. Pours near black with tan foam. Aroma: roasted malts, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup, oak, bourbon barrel. Moderate to heavy with with moderate bitterness, spicy finish. Medium to full body, with low carbonation. Tasty pastry.

Cellar draught, 2/17/24. Dark, clear, tan ring of bubbles. Spicy, chocolatey, intense caramel and marshmallow. Rich pepper and lingering spice, but like the vibes stuff there's just so much sugar. Not boozey, though. Seems like it's starting to homogenize. Banana, lots of it, but the dark chocolate and biscuity character takes over drying it out a touch to the point where's its almost refreshing after the onslaught of bourbon I just had. Soft, rich, sweet, but good spiciness, almost or balanced-adjacent. Not boozey.

Bottle at the Cellar, 2/16/24. Dark, inky, no head. Oxidation, light roast, light dark chocolate. Not the most exciting nose, no coconut, low barrel, but no sugar or booze. Yet in the mouth it's wonderful. Little/no oxidation, chocolatey, malty, mild coconut, good attenuation, no alcohol. Great balance with acidity coming from the roast?

Can at SP Cellar. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is strong hazelnut, chocolate, toasted coconut, bourbon, vanilla, roast. Slick body, hazelnut, milk chocolate, roast, bourbon, vanilla, coconut, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

Patio draught, 2/14/24. Dark, tan head quickly fizzles. Big cinna-chili nose. Impressive after almost four years. Dark chocolate, rich malt with caramel, soy, vanilla, pepper flesh and juicy coffee. Not boozey. Soft, rich, borderline syrupy, very sweet. Man, almost four years and this thing refuses to go gently...appreciate the big, bold, well-done flavors but it's ultimately too sweet/sugary for me. I'm a tough sell on these non-BA vibes beers, though, so take my rating with a grain of salt.

On tap at Side Project Cellar. Black with brownish head. Too sweet, but so nice and intensive coconut and chocolate. Smooth and silky as hell. Medium to full bodied.
