Description
Located on historic Gay Street, about one block north of the Tennessee Theatre in the heart of Knoxville, Tennessee. The Brewery has a rich history, told not only by its well-worn hardwood floors, but through its pictures of Knoxville gone by that dress the walls. With its copper and mahogany bar,
tempting menu, and fine craft-brewed beers,
it’s a relaxing setting to explore Knoxville’s flavorful past.

Our focus is on uniting our excellent beers with the exquisite flavors of open-flame mesquite grilled steak, seafood, and chicken. With a menu ranging from pastas to Mexican cuisine to seafood to the finest steaks,

Downtown Grill & Brewery is one of
downtown Knoxville's favorite gathering places.
One visit and you'll know why.
Our goal on service is simple: To know our guests, not only by their food and their drink, but more importantly by their name.
It’s part of our mission statement.

The message is simple: We want our staff to know you and your preferences, so that you to feel more like you’re coming to a friend's house than a restaurant.

Does it work? Just ask any of our many regulars.
Or better yet, find out for yourself. Come in and see what's made DGB one of Knoxville's most popular downtown destinations!

The brewer at Downtown is formerly one of the original 'beer guys' with the (RIP) New Knoxville Brewing Co. Tweaking the old New Knox IPA recipe here and there created this very acceptable IPA. Worth a try if you're in Knoxville. Good food too.
