Bottle at home from De Bierkonig, 19th December 17. Pours a chestnut brown, and a little murky. Aroma is malt, dark fruit, caramel. Taste is dark fruit, banana, caramel, rich, sweet, but not overly. Good stuff

33cl Bottle from Sterk. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of peas, dust, husks, cocoa, cheap milk chocolate, hint of dark fruits. Flavour is medium sweet, hint of peas, cocoa, milk chocolate, dark fruits, bitter finish. Medium bodied. A bit off, and where's the promised oak?

33cl Bottle from Sterk. Murky golden colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, lemongrass, wheat, bubblegum and vanilla, probably Sorachi Ace hops, light nutmeg. Flavour is light sweet, wheat, lemon, lemongrass, yeast, light spicy, more SA-hop, some citrus, bitter finish. Light bodied. Tasty beer, a bit yeasty but flavours are definitely there.

[ As Pontus Dopey's Elixer ].Hazy - murky matt medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, herbs, floral. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, herbs, floral, saison yeast, pale malt, wheat, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170921] 6-3-6-3-13

On tap at Arendsnest. Hazy orange with a small head. Hoppy with grapefruit, resin and some light malt. The body was almost full and the finish bitter.

Bottle. Color: Hazy ruby brown, beige to light brown head. Taste: Roasted malt, brown sugar, dried red fruit, caramel, raisins. Overall very malty, sweet, little bitterness. Medium body, above average carbonatuon. Needs some more bitterness and balance, in my opinion.

Van het vat bij cafe Merz in Dordrecht. Donkerbruin bier met mooie schuimkraag die lang blijft staan. Smaak is bitterzoet en ietwat kruidig met sporen van kruidnagel en nootmuskaat. Uitstekende herfstbok.

7 3 7 3 14 Draft at Little Delirium, Amsterdam CS. Brown with a big tan head. Aroma of overripe dark fruits, caramel, malt and light herbal notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

7 3 7 3 15 Draft at Foeders, Amsterdam. Very dark brown with tan head. Aroma of dark malts with grassy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
