pitch black color. Roasted malt, cherries a bit of brownies and iodines. Tart light . Good oak. Alcohol well hidden. Nice

big tart red cherries green apples and oak with a touch of raisins in the nose. Amazing nose. The palate has way more caramel and red cherries. Tart but not super well balanced . Not bad. Like the nose more than palate

Quite salty somehow. Light lemon. Not a great deal of saison but if it was called a grisette I would have appreciated it more maybe. Still nice though.

Bottle. Lactic cream vanilla peaches and cream nose. Apricots. Deep fruitiness. Glowing golden honey-like. Beautiful. Rich, fruity flavor, funky old leather, oak. Body a bit thin and flat. Silky. Good but maybe past its prime.

Zakkoku Kobo Pitchoune Deux 6% Lovely milky golden orange color with a musty peach aroma. Lovely soft medium body with a tart peachy flavor. Solid stuff.

Tap at Kanazawa. Nose is grapes, wine, oak, lactic acid. Tart and oaky, wine notes and grape notes, full of flavor, nicely sour, great fruit, great balance.
