Nice. Quite distinctive. Interesting yeasty taste, but with a bit of maltiness too. Some sweetness. Bit confusing as I get further down.

Zakkoku Kobo Lucky Citrus Ale 5.5% Lovely matte gold with eggshell white foam. Big citrus aroma with earthy and yeasty undertones. Nice nice light body and crisp flavor of citrus. Good taste but so so aroma.

Nice stuff. Quite interesting mix between the usual gose sourness and saltiness and something almost a bit creamy. I’m sure it’s the same taste as some kind of tropical fruit I’ve never had. Maybe something like that An min tofu going on. Very interesting.

beautiful funky nose with Sansho and citrus character. The nose is wonderful. Modestly tart, tons of Sansho. Just love the balance of funky Sansho and citrus. Excellent

hazy golden color. Lots of cereal malt, some Belgian yeast, smooth palate, rounded. Not a tons of depth. It’s ok

muddy amber color. Nice lacing on the head. Nice Ichiros malt, like oak, slightly sour, dried apricot, iodine. Funky palate, the whiskey is just the right amount it matches the saison very well and adds a level of tartness that is very nice. Slight warming finish. Funky and wonderful.
