Tap at Komachi. Biscuity, slightly doughy nose, lemony hops, oranges. Creamy flavor of wheat biscuity, citrus fruit. Very cloudy, bright golden color. Full flavor and hoppy for the style, but somehow does come in as a kolsch to me--somewhere between a lager and a golden ale. Quite nice, with a prickly, peppery finish.

Tap at the brewery. Lots of grain aromas with corn and twiggy, grassy hops. Finish has too much bitterness. --- Beer merged from original tick of India Pale Lager on 04 Sep 2016 at 15:41 - Score: 6. Original review text: Grainy nose. Corn, grassy twiggy hops. Overly bitter though.

Tap at the brewery. Clear gold with a finger of white foam. Big tropical nose with guava and pineapple dominating. Crisp and clean hop flavors on the palate with not as much punch as the nose unfortunately. Good carbonation and light bodied. If only the flavor hit the same as the nose. Still a fun seasonal. --- Beer merged from original tick of American Pale Ale on 04 Sep 2016 at 15:35 - Score: 7. Original review text: Lovely tropical nose: guava and pineapple. Crisp and cleNcar Omarion. Light bodied. Solid.

Tap at GJBF Osaka 2016. Cloudy, dark gold color. Not pretty. Lightly hoppy nose, estery, banana, clove. Good hop flavor, but a bit muddy, estery. Bitter. Decent but not great. Could have been a bad part of the keg.

On tap at GJBF 2016. A cloudy brass with an eggy sulfur, clove and bready wheat aroma. The taste is fine but the staff giving me a hard time for crouching to write my notes is a huge pain in the ass and spoils my enjoyment of a decent beer. Thankfully I explained my situation (ataxia) so I got a seat to use while note taking. After that got cleared up I did enjoy it and found it less yeasty than their regular weizen. These guys were probably the most solid brewery I sampled at the fest.
