Draft pour pint at the brewery/bistro. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a ton of foam head and lace. Huge expected hop aroma. Flavor is very bready, dry hop filled palate. Very much on the doughy, corny side, which really surprised me. Corn chips late finish. Not bad.

Draft - Nice tart lemon notes with a touch of soap. Hazy yellow gold with a decent white head. Light lemon and alight sour clean finish. Very nice.

light amber golden color. Earthy, slightly piney hoppy nose. Rye is fairly muted. The mouth is superbly balanced, a touch spicy from the rye. Fairly hoppy, incredibly drinkable. Moderately hoppy finish. Oh so quaffable. I love Airways!!!

Draught at Collective on Tap, Woodinville, WA; 16oz
Black color. A Black IPA by the book, perfect balance of everything that is expected: roasted malts, resiny hops; good body strength, not dry, and the hop pungency is also very nice.
Excellent.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark gold with a creamy white head. Seems to have a lot of strange fruits and perhaps a hint of pine for aroma. Med body or better. Flavor is very hoppy with strange fruits and a bready caramel for backbone. There’s a real mouthtingling hop sensation. Prior rating suggested diacetyl, and tho I am very sensitive to it, this bottle doesn’t have it. Or maybe, happily, I’ve lost my ability to detect it! Doubt that. I’m having a good time with the hop/fruit. Finishes decently bitter.

16 ounce can. Looks like a airplane beer. In fact, get this beer on airplanes right now! Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. A sweet toast and corn nose. Smooth Pils malt, sweet, a bit of sulfur and spicy hops. Pretty nice, smooth. Easy beer.

Beer #1 of 13 in blind tasting.
Headless pour. A little autolysis (soy sauce) and charred malts. Low hop, not pronounced sweetness. I picked this beer up and in hindsight it performed fine enough. On another side note, I understand the idea of a flight based theme for a brewery. However, do I really want to buy a beer called final departure?
The aggregate score placed this slightly below average.

Billed as Black IPA / CDA at the brewery. Medium brown, light chocolat/citrus character. Woody bitterness and a lot of chocolate, with a hint of toastiness. Good CDA.

Pale amber. Curranty, fruity, light caramel, sweetish with good hoppiness, moderate bitterness but quite sweet as well.

Amber, thin head. Slightly toasty, slightly citrusy, smooth, sweetish with light crystal mat character. Decent, maybe a touch strong and chewy for me.
