Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a subtle dark brown color with a one finger white to off white foamy head that dissipated within a minute. There’s a light spider web lacing clinging along the sides of the glass.
The smell had a sweet dark chocolate to milk chocolate coming through in a roasty note.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation was there but slightly subdued as this beer just rolls eloquently smooth and somewhat silky over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a wonderful sweet stout that I definitely would have again.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out earthy and piney hops, some pepper notes and a solid caramel malt backing. Flavour is much the same, with peppery resinous hops, pine, and a big caramel malt backbone that doesn't cloy. Well-balanced, with perhaps a thicker body than I generally care for in a IIPA - still, nice stuff, much better than Sky Hag IPA.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a large beige head. Aroma brings out loads of resinous hops, lots of caramel malt, syrup, and grapefruit zest. Flavour is identical, with a little too much malt for my liking, leading to loads of grapefruit zest that overrides it. Weird IIPA. Good, but a bit off the mark.

On tap at Airways, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma and flavour is true to style, with English malt, some butterscotch, and just enough English hops. Well-balanced, with everything in proportion. Solid beer, just a boring style.

On tap at Airways, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty grainy, with some crackery malt and light hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with a very dominating graininess. Quite a drinkable, thirst-quenching blonde. Nice stuff.

On tap at Airways, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral and piney hops, with some crackery malt in back. Flavour is well-balanced, with a big toasted crackery malt backing that props up floral hops. Quite mineraly, but drinkable and balanced. Decent stuff.

On tap at Airways, pours a dark amber with a small tan head. Aroma reveals notes of cocoa upfront, along with a touch of coffee. Flavour is well-balanced, with notes of powdery dry cocoa that dominates. Medium body for the style, with a nice dry palate. Good porter.

On tap at Airways, pours a clear dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma and flavour are pretty crisp, with crackery malt, toasted bread, and a touch of sweet cereal malt. Really well-made. Highly drinkable. Very nice.

Bomber from Belmont Station. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma starts citrus, but it hits a bit like pine. Med body. Flavor is citrus, and I’m still thinking there’s pine. Quite bitter and hoppy with a light caramel backbone. Finishes bitter and very hoppy.

Taster from a bomber at the Hanshin Seed Event. Deep coppery gold. Very hoppy herbal & slightly piney bouquet. Medium bodied with a slightly slick mouthfeel & dry finish. The taste is bitter but not that complex, sweet malts, fruity hop notes then resin & pine sap. Pretty good.
