Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours translucent orange tinged gold with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus - so much it’s ancient cat pee. Med + body. Flavor starts with sweet caramel - which is immediately crushed by mega citrus hop. It’s not harsh. The burn is more like a long road rash. My brewing instructor said humans lose it at about 100 IBU. Ok. Make that true. But the excess hops here are likely killing all my taste buds. Damn but this is a wild hop experience. Woot!

Bomber from Malt and Vine. Pours ruddy amber with a rather transient beige head. Aroma of warm dark bread with lots of dark fruit. Med body. It is fruity in a pretty dark way. There is malt suggesting pumpernickel. There’s some Belgian yeast/spice, and I think perhaps some earthiness. Hallertauer? I don’t know what else to say other than I’m enjoying it immensely.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark brown/black with a foamy dark tan head. Soft chocolate aroma. Med body. Flavor is rather earthy harsh chocolate. Almost like there’s coffee in it. It’s dry and finishing bitter. A real eyeopener!

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy dark gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is very citrusy in a smooth way. Maybe floral/citrus is better description. Med + body. Flavor is citrusy and the malt is rather unmalty. Very different and it works pretty well. It finishes rather smooth, and definitely bitter. I think I like my APAs less roasty/malty. This is good stuff.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Always missing deadlines - so this one is popping open 5 days late! Pours really, really black with a dark tan smear. Aroma is dark malt and a lot of coffee and rather herbal bitterness. Who knew bitterness could be smelled? Very full bodied. Flavor is dark chocolate, treacle, coffee and may a touch of star anise. Like this is a very solid brew - solid in the physical sense. It has a lot of malt, but there’s a lot of bitter, so I’m seeing this as balanced. BUT there’s a lot of dryness and bitterness in the finish. :)
