500ml flip cap bottle from Mitchell's Wines Meadowhead - Rich orange-brown body with a fluffy white top. Sweet malty nose with subtle hop aroma, then a roast malty body with burnt toffee, hints of oranges and roast nuts and then a dryish and a sweet lasting end.

From a 500ml bottle on 2/9/2017. Pours brown with a small head. Has a mild nose of clove and banana. Flavour wise, there's mild caramel and roasted malt, typical wheat notes, including more clove and banana, and finished off by a mild, slightly sour, spicy bitterness. Medium bodied with quite lively carbonation. Not bad if a little messy.

Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en licht bitter met iets van gras en hooi. Verder wel aardig maar niet echt bijzonder.

From a 500ml bottle on 26/8/2017. Pours a clear dark brown/amber with a small to medium head. The aroma is sweet and malty, with caramel, toffee and a touch of smoked meat. Taste wise, it’s similarly sweet and malty - more caramel and toffee, lots of brown sugar and treacle, along with a hint of smoky meat. There is the mildest bitterness at the back, which suits the overall experience nicely. The palate is slick and the carbonation moderate. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and enjoyed this one very much.

Bottle, 11C. Clear copper with a pale beige head that fades. Aroma is malty with some sticky bread crusts, hazelnuts, herbal notes. Sweet and rather heavy with lowish carbonation. Lots of caramelised malty notes but not a lot of character. Nice herbal-tinged bitterness is still not quite enough to lighten the load, so it’s neither quite drinkable enough nor deep enough. Still, it’s decent.
