Straight from bottle. Lots of caramel, brown bread, toffee, light grass. Medium sweet and almost medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Swing top bottle. Deep bronze colour. Moderate off-white head. The aroma is hay, straw and caramel. Pretty similar taste. Additional bread. Very low bitterness. Starch. Not my fashion.

Pours hazy honey yellow with a frothy white head. The aroma promises bubblegum and banana, Hints of leather. Taste is overall banana sweet with a light lemon tartness that arises going into the finish. Body is light and a bit watery. Average carbonation. Overall it goes down very easy and remains refreshing, but is also entirely forgettable.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Höss Black Bock ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, roasted, ash, tar, dark malt, light soy sauce - sweet soy sauce. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, ash, dark malt, sweet soy sauce, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 500ml bottle. Pours clear brown with a small beige head. Aroma is malt, dark bread, light roasted malt, caramel. Taste is caramel, malt, raisins. Seems to be a dunkel.
