Description
McCall Brewing Company has been brewing handcrafted ales at our micro-brewery restaurant in McCall, Idaho since 1994. We are the second oldest Brewery in Idaho. MBC is a full-service restaurant that is open everyday for lunch and dinner. There are seven TV’s that make us a must if you desire to watch sports. Our deck–open in the summer–overlooks the city and Payette lake. We are a true micro-brewery, brewing right in the middle of the building. MBC has up to twelve of our own ales on tap at any one time.

22oz bottle pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice sweet pit fruit notes some peat smoke and a little caramel toffee. Tatse is more of the nice sweet malts pit fruit light smoke.

On tap. Clear deep chestnut brown with a thin wispy head toasted malty aromas and flavors. Fairly clean and dry some slightly sweet Carmel notes at the end.

Bottle from Albertsons. Dark brown , almost clear, some light sneaking through. Small cap of beige head. Very gentle Aroma, roast grains, taste picks up a bit with a little bit more of the roast grain, some nutty flavors, finishes dry. Decent but not Great brown ale.

On tap at the brewery pours out a copper amber no head. Nose is sweet malts some oak and a floral note. Taste it more of the sweet caramal malts oak and some soap.

On tap at the brewery pours out a crisp copper color topped with a white head. Nose is grain floral notes and some spice. Taste is more of the nice nutty grain spice.

On tap at the brewery pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is light belg notes spice and candy sweetness. Taste is more of the spice notes floral and sweet belg candy.

Bomber from Albertsons. Clear, dark amber, small creamy head. Malty aroma, brown bread. Taste is more if the malts, not too sweet, kind of dry, caramel. Finishes quick.

On tap at The Growler Guys. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is coconut, chocolate, spice. Medium body, dark chocolate, coconut, lingering dry finish, good.
