On tap at the brewery.
Appearance: burnt orange/copper color with a quarter finger's white foamy head which settled nicely and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: caramel malts, subtle nuts, clean bready tones, sweet grains
Flavor: blends all those prior noted aromas to a nice sweet vibe; finishes bready and malty
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness, kiss of dryness
Overall: good Maibock as far as I know. I'd come back to this.

Poured into a snifter.
Appearance: dark ruby almost dark brown color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which quickly dissipated then barely left any lace
Aroma: dark fruits, vanilla, caramel/toffee malts, sweet coffee, sweet leather, sweet wood
Flavor: copies the aromas pretty sweet with a dry finish of the dark fruits, malts and sweet wood
Texture: medium to full bodied, great sipper; some smoothness but comes with a cost of some dryness
Overall: nice English barleywine worthy of coming back to.
