Pours a murky ruby with a small head. Aroma has hints of fruit, peat, chocolate, and toffee. Flavor has good amount of burnt caramel, toffee and mild fruit. Caramelized sugars. Mouthfeel is medium with a light smoky BBQ note in the finish. Nice body for such a low ABV. Out of the summer collaboration beers; this was by far my favorite.

Sample at the brew pub. The beer is a hazy yellow-gold color with a thin head, little lacing. Aroma of lemongrass and wheat. Light-bodied with flavors of wheat, malt and lemons. Again, the body of this beer is real thin. The finish is short and herbal. Like the other seasonal saison, this needs more of a body. Really flimsy.
