On tap at the house of 1000 beers. Darker brownish clear and nice loolking. head fades fast. Hoppy aroma, makes me think this is some kinda ipa or black ipa. First tatse is medium hops and then it builds to an annoying bittier ipa bite. Never reaches douple ipa territiory but fer sure ti must be an ipa or rye pa or sumthin. Green grapefruit rind finish.

On tap at the house of a 1000 beers. Looks like pale lager. No head, Smells like a pilsner. Taste is like a stronger pilsner. A quite bitter beer but I would never have guessed this was IPA, eh. A little over the top fer sure. Long bitter heavily astringent finish. Not too likable for a lager lover but may appeal to some impy pilsner likers.

Floral and citrusy hops mix with biscuity malts in both the aroma and flavor. The malts really dumb down the hops. Plenty of bitterness but not much flavor, really. Middle of the road.

Thin brown color with a small tan head. Wow. This is a hoppy brown ale. Lightly sweet malts, some toast, citrus, grapefruit, spicy aroma. Mought feel is quite harsh- high carbonation and biting hops. A very bitter finish. Flavor has a light malty sweetness, grapefruit, citrus, spice- much like a American strong ale in terms of bitterness and hopping. Not what I expected but once I recovered from the initial shock and settled in to a couple pints I really came around on this one. Good brew.

Bottle from a trade with watson1977. Pours dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of roasted malts coffee and milk chocolate. Moderate roast flavor with some day old coffee. Thin to medium body with lots of carbonation. A little watery and not as much coffee as I like I’m my coffee beers. Thanks Kerry.

Copper with a white head. Aroma is medium citrus and earthy hops with light grass, and light caramel malts. Medium, crispy body. Flavor is citrus, light grass, and medium biscuit malts. Finish has a nice hop bite. Very straightforward APA. Easy going with a proper amount of hopping to make this pale a go to beer.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large creamy dark tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was burnt and roasty with notes of anise, faint chocolate, wood and a hint of vanilla. The flavor was vanilla, cocoa, wood and roasty malts with touches of smoke, rum and cherry underneath. The finish was long and the body was creamy, silky and fairly full. Nice.
