On tap at the house of 1000. Nice place, good prices, good beer, yeah. Clear red brownosh. Yes smell is a little punkeny. Pumpkins spice, easy and a little bitter but never gets on your nerves. Better than most punky beers, especially the spiced ones.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Oak Tree, 12/6/12

Aroma: The nose has lots of roasted coffee, with some chocolate malts, and a little earth
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a small beige head that leaves scattered lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same as the nose, it is mostly roasted coffee, with a lightly bitter finish
Palate: Medium bodied, though a touch watery, with average-plus carbonation, and a light dry finish
Overall Impression: This is not a bad beer at all. The coffee presence works pretty well, and the beer itself works pretty well overall. It's nothing stellar, but I found it quite drinkable, and fairly well made.

12oz bottle pours a watery, but mostly opaque black with one ring of beige head. Nose of mild coffee, brown sugar, malt, a little brown bread. Flavor is the same, Little nutty, coffee, brown sugar, malt, bread. Medium bodied, dry finish. Neither the base beer nor the coffee are exceptional, but this is a decent little coffee porter.

Deep orange/copper with a white head. Aroma has plenty of spice, toasted caramel malt, and light pumpkin. Medium bodied. Flavor was pretty heavy on the pumpkin spice but not overwhelmingly so, I guess. Sweet malts, toast, and some pumpkin round it out. Solid pumpkin beer.

Surprisingly dark brown opaque beer. Little pale tan head. Light crispy palate. Good malt base, even a touch of roasted malt. Piney bitterish hops on top. Trace of hop fruit. Dry finish. Toasted malt again in the aftertaste. Interesting beer. Just not a very pale India Pale Ale!

Nice, super hazy, chunky golden coloured body with some pungent orange glow and a thick, four centimetre tall soapy tan head. Aroma of yeast, coriander seed, curacao, lemons, wheat and a bit of white pepper. Light-bodied; Nice wheat flavour with a ton of coriander seed freshness, some yeast, a little lemons and a ton of nice herbal spiciness with pepper and some light sage really coming out. Aftertaste is nice - being pungent (spices) and mild (yeast/wheat) at the same time. Overall, a very nice beer that shows great complexity while not overwhelming the palate. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Malvern, Pennsylvania on 22-September-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 01-November-2012.

Keg: Pours an orange color with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops, with caramel malt backbone. Taste is much as expected. Hoppiness is somewhere around the middle. This is not a very ambitious beer, but it is also perfectly drinkable and quite pleasant.

12 oz. bottle. Nose shows bread, wheat and lots of spice. The initial flavor starts with lots of citrus and wheat. It transitioned into lemon zest and lots of coriander in the back end of the sip. I liked this brew as I started to sip it while it was chilled. As it grew warm; the coriander got real over powering. I love this style of beer. However, this didn’t do it for me. It’s ok cold but god forbid it gets warm.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks David Cohen. Clear reddish brown. Pretty fruity aroma with malt, caramel and fruit liqueur. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, cookies, fruits and a bitter and somewhat hoppy finish with a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied, oily rounded mouthfeel. Not bad.
