Bottle shared at the 20k tasting. Pours clear brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose has toasted brown bread, earth. Light-medium sweet flavour with nice brown bread, mellow cocoa, earth, toasted grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent finish, more mellow cocoa, toasted bread. Good stuff.

BOTTLE 50 CL from 100beers. Clear dull amber, creamy ivory head with lacing. Nose is light caramel and fruity malts, some rotting wet cereals. The taste does actually have some Maibock characters - Munich malts and fairly strong pungent bitterness. Pretty cleanly fermented. Not bad.

Bottle in Gabrovo, Bulgaria - a 2.5L bottle, I should add. Purchased in Veliko Tarnovo. Pours crystal clear gold, lightly effervescent with a foamy white head that quickly fades into nothing. The nose has lots of paper, sugary malts, bread. Light sweet flavor with truckloads of paper, cardboard, some doughy bread, faint wet hay, cereal. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. More of the same to finish; mellow character overall but what is present is not great - paper, cardboard, cereal. Fairly poor.
