Deep ruby reddish brown with medium tan head. Aroma of toffee and malt. Flavor of roasted malt with a bit of caramel, but not really sweet. Light hops at the very end. Very drinkable.

Muffiger Getreideantrunk, andeutungsweise hopfig, dann herber. Relativ wässrigwerdend, im Abgang zur noch vorhandenen Herber würziger, unerwartet "stark". Ok, trinkbar. Test vom 10.8.2008, Gebinde: PET Noten: 6,6,6,8,5,6 - 6,25

Pale clear colour with small white head.Taste is sweet like Winegumms and caramel.fells slight smoked and with a mild finish.Mine Almus was in a 0.5L Plastik bottel.

500 ml. brown bottle from Bottle Barn. Smells pilsnerish with a hint of smoke! A floral or herb note that’s difficult to place. Almost dusty. Gold color with a white head that left rapidly. Medium body with a crisp carbonation. Arguably this has a light peat or smoke component. Otherwise the malt is sort of bready. It’s not really bitter, so the hop must be grassy or floral. The finish is fairly dry and only very lightly bitter. After awhile the bitterness builds up to typical pilsner levels (ok, it’s not a Pilsner, but...)

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a big light beige head. Light toffee/caramel aroma with a bit of roast. Toffee flavor with a bit of hop backing. Nice balance. Easy to drink.

Bottle. Pale yellow golden beer with a thin white head. Low malt aroma. Vready flavor with some floral hops in the background. Very bready. Easy drinking. Nothing outstanding.
