Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up from Da Hapna. Pours clear gold with a foamy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with simple pale cereal, softly bitter straw, biscuits. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more pale cereal, straw, low bitterness, a little dough. Drinkable for what it is.

Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up from the Billa at the Paradise shopping centre. Pours clear, rich caramel-gold with a creamy, light khaki head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of toasted bread, biscuits, mild accents of caramel and honey, faint leafy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more toasted malts, toasted caramel, bready malts. Enjoyable amber lager.

Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, more clean biscuity pale malts, lightly bitter straw. Drinkable stuff.

Die Optik zeigt sich hellgelb/hellgülden. Die weiße, grob- bis mittelporige Schaumkrone gibt sich flaumig-stabil und absolut gut haltbar. Sehr zurückhaltend in der Nase, aber man meint eine doch eher deutliche Hopfenbetonung wahrzunehmen. Wesentlich deutlicher kommt dafür ein komisch süßlich-metallischer Ton in den Vordergrund. Im Antrunk vernimmt man eine ganz angenehme Spritzigkeit mit einer leicht süßlichen Malzcharakteristik. Am Gaumen manifestiert sich eine dominante Malznote mit einer deutlichen, aber eher mäßigen Würze, sowie einer trocken wirkenden Hopfenaromatik. Das alles wirkt nicht übel, aber auch nicht unbedingt überzeugend. Den etwas kräftieren Charakter kann dieses Bier keinesfalls verleugnen. Es ist als helles internationales Lager kategorisiert, lässt sich aber am ehesten mit einem deutschen Export vergleichen. Im Abgang wirken die Aromen gut nach - und das in einer ganz angenehmen Art und Weise. Sogar einen Hauch Hefe mag man plötzlich vernehmen. Im Vergleich mit deutschen Export-Bieren wäre es wohl "nur" eine Nummer unter Tausenden - aber ich kann sagen, dass es (sogar deutsche!!!) Export-Biere gibt, die noch weniger gut sind.

500ml can from a local eastern European shop; BB 16th May 2021. Drank at home with a Ham sandwich on 2nd Sep 2020. Pale golden body, bright and clean, huge white head at first, soon calmed down to a thinner covering though. Grainy, rice aroma and taste; it's a 'Lawn Mower Beer' and not a Beer Hunters delight. Bog standard, cheap Lager.
