0.33 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before June 2024. Almost clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some straw and a touch of lemon peel. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, rather grassy-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, straw and some lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry, almost peppery finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very decent Pils, much better than the first, overly metallic Waldstadt Pils from a few years ago.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, snow white head. Grainy, strawy, pale malty and minimally waxy hoppy aroma, hints of flax. Taste is grainy and strawy, pale malty, subtle residual sweetness, moderately bitter, slightly waxy and minimally soapy hoppy overtones, hints of flax. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Unbalanced, almost a bit weird - poor interpretation of an already deprived style.
