Can. Just misted gold with a fluffy cm of white head. Vibrant aroma of gooseberry, grass clippings, white grapes, crackers. But upon a taste, the slightly feral edge of passionfruit is there too. The malt side of things is very plain indeed - I guess that's the sub-style (or is it sub-sub-style?) and the hop flavours lose some dimensionality because of it. Grassy and fruity bitter finish.

Can. Black with a modest light tan head. Chocolate and earthy roasted barley aroma. But then quite intensely roasted with only a little chocolate before a decisively bitter finish. Plain but good.

Can. Almost black with a coat of beige head. Stewed fruit and strong bread aroma with brown sugar and some spices. Pretty much how it tastes but it's not all that sweet with nicely spiced balancing bitterness. Unlike Screaming Goat there's no nuts - maybe just a hint of skin. Pretty good.

Can. Opaque orange with a good cm white head that lasts OK. Aroma of peach (peach nectar is sludgy, right?) limey white grapes, light doughy bread. Light bodied but soft textured. Fruity indeed with a little resin and hints of herbs towards a brief, not very bitter end. At 7% it's a trifle but a lovely one.

Can. Opaque brownish orange with a cm of white head. Startling tropical aroma with lychees, green grapes, lime, pineapple, passionfruit, grass. The vibrant fruity notes dominate the beer, and they don't really dovetail with the rest of what's going on (which isn't all that much). Little bitterness, some astringency at the end. Good of its ilk.

Can. Not quite opaque brownish orange with a sense cm of white head. 6+ Vibrant fruity and herbal aroma. Peach, pineapple, grapefruit, lime leaf, grapes, green herbs. Which is all well and good if it doesn't burn. And it doesn't The palate is a little vaguely bready and the fruit is pulpy before citrus, some herbs and a little bitterness sharpen at the end. Very good of its ilk; plenty of punch at "just" 6%.

Can. Almost clear pale amber with a 2cm white head that lasts OK. Delicate citrus syllabub aroma with lemon and grapefruit, gentle tropical notes, crackers, grass. More vibrant taste with red berries, guava and some pine joining. Firm clean malt under the fruit and a long bitter finish. Terrific.

Can. Opaque yellowish orange with a good cm of fluffy white head. Aroma of fresh oranges, hints of pulpy mango, some lime and grass, crackers. Sweet and juicy with lots of fruit flavours. Palate is rather vague. Just a little herbal with the grass towards the end and no bitterness to speak of.

Nice saison aromas of earth, raisins and dough. But it's very sour when tasted, with some surprising lemon dominating, giving it more of a sour feel, which is not my vibe.
