Bottiglia.

Bottle as a gift. Aroma is brown malt with bready notes, yeast, caramel, hint of banana and roast. Flavour has some wheaty sourness and little sweetness. Light to medium body. Aroma is fine, but the flavour and body put me off a bit.

Bottle drunk in St. Johann im Pongau after a bird show at millennium-old castle, and some light mountain biking on gravel and hilly roads. Orange amber hazy, big head that shrank faster than trump's lead once his new opponent appeared on the scene. Overripe banana nose. Surprisingly there's some acidic taste, not full on sour, it's refreshing but unusual in a Weißbier. Still 6 weeks till its expiration, hmm. Otherwise: mid bodied, wheaty, and moderate/light hop bitterness. It's okay.

Bottle 0.5 Plopp drunk in tha Pongau after Chinese crispy duck dinner, which was alright. Quite hazy dark amber with a big head. Nose is definitely citrusy, mandarine skin and seeds. Flavor is a bit grassy, citrus-ish notes dominate with some grain as well. Decent amount of bitterness, not too smooth though. It's alright, and improves after several minutes airing in the glass.

33cl bottle. A almost black beer with a beige head. Aroma of roasted dark malt, tons of coffee, some vanilla. Taste of mid sweet roasted dark malt, coffee beans, tobacco, some vanilla. Good!
