330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with absurdely huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, white head. Pale and caramel malty as well as slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of orange, tangerine, nectarine. Taste is slightly bitter, grassy, citrusy and minimally waxy, hoppy, caramel malty basis with little residual sweetness, hints of nectarine, orange, tangerine. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, lively carbonation. Rather overcarbonated, therefore the full sensory accessibility to the flavours is inhibited - Bummer!

Amber going towards light red. Cloudy. Initial large head quickly disappearing. Light vegetable tones in the nose, caramel, faint passionfruit. Initially fruity and very faintly hoppy in the mouth, over carbonated, falling away steeply. Just enough lingering taste to avoid the label watery, but just about. Drinkable, enjoyable but not very interesting.

Bottled, thanks Sebilinz! Hazy copper colour, small head. Aroma of red berries and caramel. Sweet with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Caramel with berry tartness and banana. Lightly metallic finish. Not up to the expected Austrian level in the malt department.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, firm, foamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Spicy malty, doughy and slightly fruity, yeasty aroma, grassy, leafy, minimally citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of banana, banana leaves, pear, green apple, some wet straw. Taste is grassy, minimally citrusy hoppy, slightly doughy yeasty, minimally sweet fruity, hints of pear, apple, a touch of banana, a lemon dash, minimally strawy, malty background; minimally watery passages. Watery and simultaneously minimally mushy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, foamy carbonation. Quite rich, manifold - pretty good!

bottle from Kalea Bieradventskalender, Austria edition, @ Stiegl-Getränkemarkt Salzburg. Cloudy golden colour with a huge white head and fruty aroma, mango and papaya mainly. Medium-bodied, malty with intensive tropcial fruit flavours of mango and papaya, shy yeasty hint, pleasantly hoppy in the lingering finish. Wow, what a fragrant and aromatic Zwickel!

RB backlog. Two unclean bottles, smelling of Osterjause. Sourish, mineralic.
