Slightly hazy orange golden colour, firm white head. Aroma of hops, resin, light sweat, tropical fruits and citrus. Bitter flavour, hops, light sweet touch. Malty sweet, bitter finish.

330ml bottle shared by Rune at Rating Session 25.Oct.2012 Gushing amber coloured brew which gives a huge foamy head and leaves beautiful lacing in the glass . Muddy. The aroma reminds me of a sawmill: spruce, resin, pine and wood. Tastes of yeast, earth, damp basement and perhaps some smoke. Not really bitter, more moist and earthy. Label with attitude. I like that!

Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Very hazy orange color, virtually no head. Smell malts, a hint of sweetness and lightly hops but less than expected. Taste malts, lightly bitter, lightly hops and again a sweet hint. Disappointing imo. Low to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ home thx to benzai. Hazy orange with a small lacing white head. Smells hops, grapefruit, pine, resin, christmastree. Tastes bitter, hops, grapefruit, quite sweet (but not too sticky), some pine. Long lasting hoptaste. Medium to full body, soft carbo. Great brew. Edit: Had this one again at Borefts ’13. Still think it’s a great tasting beer.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Orange/amber color. Off white head. Aroma’s: resinous, sweet fruit, somewhat sugarry & acidic. Flavor is medium bitter, medium sweet with a hint of acidity. Medium bodied. Finishes malty and rather bitter.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Dark copper color. Off white, sticky head. Aroma’s: sweet fruits, grainy/malty, some caramel. Flavor is medium sweet with some earthy bitterness. Body is medium, prickly carbonation. Finishes roasted and bitter, rather dry. Not very well balanced, but very tasty.

Bottle from Beer Ritz, Leeds. Vivid golden pour with a tight white head. Hugely promising nose of fragrant hop and juicy tropical fruit. More piney resinous hops and fruits emerged in the flavour in tandem with some balancing sweet malts. Spot on bitterness and great balance. Really excellent IPA......’won’t you please take me along, I won’t do anything wrong....’

On tap @ Beer Temple (last bit out of the keg so very yeasty- might need a re-rate at some point). Color: brown, muddy. Beige head. Aroma’s: Yeast (I know), lactose, with retronasal also caramel, roasted malts, chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted. Light bodied. Finishes roasted and rather dry. Still very nice.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Golden to amber color, hazy. Dense white head. Aroma’s: fruit (reminiscent of Nelson Sauvin, which apparently isn’t in there), some earthy hoppiness, hint of acidity. Flavor: earthy bitter, but quite soft, slightly acidic. Light bodied. Finishes with grain and nicely bitter.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Golden blonde color, slightly hazy. White head, some lacing. Aroma’s: earthy hops, some fruit, hints of vegetables. Flavor is grainy, fruity, light bitter. Light bodied. Finishes with a nice solid bitterness.
