Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Drukket i heimen 23 Jul 12. Mørk brun. Høyt luftig skum som varer. God fruktig aroma. Plommer. Fyldig fruktsmak. Aprikos & mandler. Smaken veldig fyldig. Sherrypreg. Flott bitter & tørr fruktig ettersmak. Veldig bra - men ble litt heftig som matøl.

Draught@Euston Tap, London. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, sweet malts, some floral and caramelly notes. Flavour is quite similar. Very pleasant APA.

On tap @ George and Dragon, Barcelona. This is a blurry golden-yellow one with a nice dense white head. It smells fruity with a hint of orange zest and some fruity hops. In taste it has a pretty darn near flavor like a carbonated orange soda this one - just I mean it in a good way. It's average+ carbonated and has a mild watery mouthfeel. Quite clementine zesty in the taste. Some citrus and grassy hops, but the zest dominates. Not bad though, and I enjoyed this one. 07.08.2012

On tap @ Bar SF, Barcelona. This is a bright peach-orange one with a nice medium sized just off-white lacing head. Smells mildly peachy, some nice floral hops, soft citrus and some almost carrot sweetness. Really easy drinking with a light punch from the hops, fruitiness and a semi dry finish. Some near alco warmth in the aftertaste. Really good drinkin' 06.08.2012

0.33l bottle. This one pours a deep dark brown body and it has an impressive big light tan head that sticks around for a while. Tons of sweet milk chocolate on the aroma, some light ashes, coffee and dark fruits also, but the milk chocolate really sticks itself out here. Quite nice. It's quite lively carbonated and it has a mild oily mouthfeel. In the taste I get dry espresso powder, dry chocolate, smooth roastiness, a little bit of bitter cold coffee, and tones of cardboard in the end. Leaving a mild dry tongue in my mouth. Enjoyable. 01.08.2012

0.33l bottle. This is a cloudy honey-colored one with a medium sized off-white bubbly head. On the aroma the first thing that strikes my nose except the fruity hops is cucumber! Like old ripe refridged cucumber. Also it's a well hopped one this, with a lot of grapy citrus that actually can remind a bit of a strong DIPA. Nice enough I guess, but nothing exceptional if you ask me. It's average carbonated and it has a cloudy almost watery-creamy texture in the mouth. Taste is strong and heavy hoppy, piney resinous hops with notes of sweet fruity berries and some sweet malts before it ends with a medium dry tongue. A well bitter and hoppy IPA that I didn't find way to interesting, but it's a nice enough beer. 04.07.2012

0.33l bottle. This is a peachy-copper one, a bit cloudy with some big floaters and a small quickly sidesticking bubbly off-white head. It smells sweet and light fruity. Some peaches and caramel, but unfortunately also a clear tone of wet cardboard. It's average carbonated with a mild oily texture. Flavors are light metal-fruity, almost on the border of being pungent-bitter. Feels almost copper-ish in the mouth, light caramel infused and it ends of with tones of waaay over ripe summer strawberries. Not horrible, but I did not find it really great either. 29.06.2012

0.33l bottle. This one pours a unclear deep dark bronze body with a disappointing bubbly and sidesticking off-white head. It smells quite nice with sweet caramel, dried fruits and plums. Impressive. The flavor also is surprisingly tasty! A bit spicy and almost burned-caramel sweet with a good bitterness all the way. It's average carbonated with a light oily mouthfeel. Ends off bitter with clear references to both chocolate and chocolate paper, leaving my mouth sorta dry. I liked this one. Quite a different bitter. 30.06.2012

Keg at Euston Tap. London. A black coloured pour with a large beige head on top. Roasty, malty aroma. Tastes roasty, malty, slightly smokey with a hint of coffee in there, not bad..

Tap at the Euston Tap - 11/08/12. Off black with a minimal head soon thinning to nothing. Sweet malts and chocolate on the nose. Similar taste to aroma with a little nutiness. Medium bodied with a sweet finish.
