Draught Huge dark-beige/cream head over virtually black beer with beautiful lace. Roasted, burnt aromas, really like roasted meat or bread, Maillard-like; Roasted, and definitely a tad smoked flavouring, roasted grains, but also smoked cured meat. Warming up, liquorice. Medium to better bodied, quite slick and a velvety texture. Nice, eating & drinking.

Draught Huge, dense, just off-white head over veiled orange-copper beer. Fruity, estery USA_hops, with rosewater, citrus, lytchee, but also some sweat. Bitter, grapefruity flavour, ending in lytchee, but still not really sweet. Bit harsh bitterness after some time. Medium bodied, but quite slick; astringency coming with some retardation. Aftertaste is excessively bitter. Nice IPA, nothing extraterrestrial, but quite OK.

Draught Huge brown-beige head over black beer. Bitter chocolate & black coffee, very roasted nose, but with a sweet, molasses-like streak. Malt ’chocolate’ drink. Bitterish, but mainly sweet, oats-like flaovur, again like the maltdrinks imitating cacaomilk, made from malts or oats. Medium bodied, quite slick, just the finish is thinnier. Not bad, but indeed a tad sweet.

Draught Huge, fine & dense yellow head over red-amber, cloudy beer, textbook lace. C-hops, mixed with meaty esters. Bitter, C-hops, touch of vanilla, and quite some resin. Finish is nearly quinine-like dry, wry-bitterish long finish, leading into a rather indifferent-bitter aftertaste. Well-carbonated, at least medium bodied, quite slick. Quite good, if certainly not spectacular.

Biggish offwhite head. Amber body made slightly hazy by floaties. Strawy resiny tropical fruit aroma with salty pineapple notes. Dry-sweet mango and pineapple taste with wooden resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, edgy mouthfeel. Dry pineapple, mango, and oranges aftertaste with salty wooden resiny notes. Nice. It’s a bit sharp, but packed full of flavour. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Medium beige head. Opaque black body. Mealy earthy chocolate aroma with coffee and mint notes. Sweet-dryish earthy burnt chocolatey taste with grainy mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry burnt grainy chocolate aftertaste with mealy coffee notes. Nice, drinkable, vivid. I quite liked this. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

33cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Slightly hazy orange color, small to medium sized white to off-white head that diminishes quickly and leaves a fair lacing. Smell malts, hops, lightly spruce, lightly hay and lightly grassy. Tastes moderately malty, hoppy, bitter-fruity. Medium body, medium carbo.

Bottle thx to benzai. Slightly hazy orange with a white head that’s gone quickly. Smells like citra hops, fresh, grassy, onion. Tastes bitter, refreshing, hoppy, lovely and some onion. Great brew! Perfect carbo, medium body.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Italian Beer Festival ’12.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Italian Beer Festival ’12. Orangée brumeuse, col épais beige. Arôme est houblonné, léger en agrumes. En bouche, houblonné, malté note de grains pour un profile qui reste assez fleuri, pointe d’épices houblonnées et une touche de douceur.
