Description
Oprichters en eigenaren Jules Oostendorp, Pascal Milhado, en Thomas Oostdijk zijn in 2016 gestart met het brouwen van bier. Onder de naam van De Eeuwige Jeugd is in eerste instantie gekozen voor een brouwlocatie van Brouwerij Troost uit Amsterdam. Echter werden de bieren steeds populairder en moest er worden gekozen voor een andere brouwlocatie. Inmiddels (sinds 2018) worden de bieren gebrouwen door Brouwerij Anders uit België. Ook hebben de mannen gekozen voor een eigen café/proeflokaal in Amsterdam genaamd Tapperij De Eeuwige Jeugd.
Op 18 november 2022 wordt brouwclub Levenslang geopend. Sinds april 2023 staat er in de club Levenslang een eigen brouwinstallatie van 20 hl met 6 tanks om nieuwe bieren te ontwikkelen en aan de vraag te kunnen blijven voldoen.

33cl Bottle at Ton Ton Club. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of some citrusy hops, light spicy, malty, medium sweet. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, hoppy, spicy, citrus, ginger, bitter finish. Light bodied. OK.

Draught @ Anna’s Bar, Anna van Buerenplein 712, 2595DK Den Haag, Netherlands. [ As De Eeuwige Jeugd Lellebel ].Light unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light hoppy, citrus, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, belgium yeast, pineapple notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity yeast, belgium yeast, minerals, pale malt, fruity malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170920] 6-3-6-3-11

7 3 7 3 14 Bottle at Skek, Amsterdam. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, pineapple, light floral notes, caramel, light yeast and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

03/07/2017 - 33 cl bottle @ De Biertuin, Amsterdam. Dark yellow, nice white head. Nose is grainy, sour touch, banana, spices. Taste has some wheat, sour touch, fruity, some banana, spices. Not bad.

0.33 l bottle from ’Sterk’, best before August 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy and slightly floral aroma of lemon, fresh grass and pineapple. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, fruity-grassy and slightly floral taste of lemon, pineapple, gooseberry and some grass, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite grassy and slightly dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty and refreshing hoppy Blond, nice!

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Biscuity malty and spicy-grassy, hoppy aroma. hints of lemon biscuit, a touch of gooseberry. Taste is bitter hoppy, grassy, a touch of hay, a chalky layer. So-so.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Murky yellowish, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, lightly yeast, lightly herbal, herbal bitterness. Hmm weird and a bit hard to describe. Not my kind of beer anyway.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy yellow to orange colour with a small white head. Smells sweet, malts. Tastes like a sweet and extra malty pilsener with a bit more body. Medium body, soft carbo.

Hazy pale amber colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, minimal lacing. Aroma malts, grain, bread, orange peel, some ginger and cloves. Taste light heavy to medium sweet and medium bitter, malty, grainy, bread, spicy notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, bit husky/strawish, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice try but not entirely successful, okay.
