Pours a clear golden color, topped with a small and quickly vanishing white head. There is a mild malty aroma, which is basically it about the nose. The taste is watery and light, malty, sweet. No real bitterness. Drinkable.

50cl bottle shared @ BAB’14. Courtesy of 77ships.

500 ml. bottle sampled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2014. Procured from Anna-Maria in Antwerp. Light golden, white head. Hay, grains, extract in the nose, pale lager fare, grains, light hops. Bitter grains taste, lager hops, hay, esters, grains, cheap hay. Grainy mouth feel, not fun to chug, the aftertaste really lingers. Meh, not my kind of stuff.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with little head and aromas of euro skunk hops and a little honey buns. Flavor is a mess. Cloying honey sweetness, with a sticky edge and skunky hops. This fails on the mouthfeel and palate in a big way... Sticky and sweet doesn’t go with the Beck’s style hops at all...
