500ml bottle. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big biscuit malt, tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp dry woody resin floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Cask pint at The Royal Oak, Ellerdine Heath, Shropshire on 2nd Dec 2017. Amber bodied, off-white crown. Bursting with fruity hops and semi-sweet maltiness, I really enjoyed it. Had to revisit the pump clip to make sure it was in fact a Cotleigh brewed beer!

Cask at the Dove Street Inn Winter Festival, 2017. Pours clear golden colour with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of grain, hop, grass and light floral notes. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Light to medium body, oily and watery texture, soft to flat carbonation. OK.

Cask at Swan Inn, Farnborough. Light Herbal grassy citrus aroma. Bright gold. Creamy white head. M bitter. Citrus. Herbs. Light bodied but a soft carbonation save the palate. Long dry finish. Decent.

Fra cask på Crosse Keys, London 11 Okt 17. Ultramørk amber. Lavt stabilt skum. Aroma av røstet malt & sjokolade. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken lettrøkt bacon & nøtter med spor av sjokolade i avslutningen.

Dark color with a fine tan head. Looks nice. Ok lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Fine body for a 4,3% beer and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Toffee, coccoa, mild roast and some coffee in the flavor.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 11/10/2017. Deep brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Thin bodied beer, with some camp coffee, toasty malts and a sweet edge. So so.

Cask ½ pint at Flying Horse (JDW), Gatwick airport, on October 18, 2017.Malty, roasted, chocolate taste. Grainy, sweet, chocolate aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Hazy dark brown to black color, tan head. Malty, grainy, slight roasted scent.6/3/7/3/13=3.2
