Bottle at Craig’s. Pours clear yellow with no head. Aromas of cinnamon, clove, aniseed, honey. Taste is light sweet. Lots of clove.

bottle at home .. golden ... thin white lacing ... soft dry honey ... light heather fruit ... big cloves nose... massive cloev front .. soft honey ... ligth orange .. juicty honey fruit .. but massive cloves tk 2... cloves say it all ...

Bottle with thanks to Ben! Opened on my birthday. Pours clear red with a hint of orange, no head, no lacing. Aroma is strawberries and cream, vanilla, honey. Flavor is medium sweet, , a bit hot and boozy. Medium body.

Bottle at bens... Deep red.. Thin tan lacing... Soft fruits.. Massive strawberry nose... Soft sweet fruits... Dry fruits.. Lots of strawberry.. Dry honey.. Little bitter

Bottle at The High WyCum tasting, Chez Bois, thanks to Scopeye 05/11/16. Pale golden yellow with nothing in the way of a head. Nose is sweet fruits, vanilla, plum duff, figs, custard, caramel melt. Taste comprises light spice, vanilla, clove, fruit esters, nana melt, medicinal tones. Full bodied, cloying, sweet boosty close. Decent enough mead.

Bottle shared at the hi wy cum. Tasting, 5/11/2016. Huge thanks to to Paul for this one. Aroma is big star anise, liquorice, spices, Christmas, little woody. . Palate is medium sweet and full lowish carbonation. Flavour is composed of sweet honey, pear and apple, bug Christmas spices, sweet and liquorice. . Really good.

Bottle shared at Colin’s. it pours clear pale gold with no head. The aroma is rich, spiced, clove, cinnamon, warming, candy, honeycomb, honey cake, light menthol and vanilla. The taste is rich, slick, honey cake, juicy, festive spice, clove, cinnamon, apple pie, pear, cake and very little alcohol with a smooth finish. Medium + body and slick mouth - feel. Works rather well.

Bottle shared in High Wycombe - thanks to Scoopy. Pours clear yellow-gold. The aroma has some spices, menthol, clove, cinnamon. Heavy sweet flavour with more spice character, gooey honey, white sugar. Full bodied, oily and chewy. Lightly warming finish with nips of ripe apple, more spices, cinnamon sticks, clove, honey. Fun beer. Very, very festive.
