Large can from gas station, shared with Buckeyeboy. Amber pour with small, short-lived head. Malty aroma, sweet. Taste is malty with a faint citrus backend. Not overly strong either.

I bought this double-dip-serving can of Stack 101 the first time I saw it at the favored, local convenience store. More is better, right? A beer flavored malt liquor that comes in at 9.9%, life is good. I locate my embarrassingly well used #2 size paper bag and put it to use. I flip the tab and take a smell. The first test is passed, definitely smells like beer. And now a drink, well, this is exploring new territory. I get a tinny effect along with corn syrup, medicine, water and rice. Sweeter than expected but not overwhelming. It is no OE 800, no malt liquor really can be. Finish the can? Oh hell yes.

24 oz. can from Orem, Utah State liquor store. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a large white head and very good retention. Good lacing. Typical malt liquor aroma. Typical malt liquor flavor too. Initial grainy lager flavor closely followed by a medicinal taste and booze. Slick mouthfeel. The 9.9% ABV is not hidden, and the warmth lingers. No way am I finishing this can. Guaranteed headache.

24oz can picked up at the state store
Pours clear light golden with a small white head, some lacing. Mild aroma of sweet straw, grains and apple. Taste is harsh, grainy, hot alcohols and cidery
Not terrible but I couldn’t finish my glass.

Flavour is composed of aged, stale malts, apple, corn, , tangy grainy apple. Palate is dull and lifeless, semi sweet. Pretty bad yo.

Can big thanks to MacBoost, Rich & Sarky at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. It pours clear pale yellow - gold with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is grainy, paper, creamy, tapioca and raw alcohol. The taste is crisp, raw alcohol upfront, corn, straw, tangy apple, pear and cereal with a dry, boosty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy action. Pretty rough and hot. Poor.

Can shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. Huge thanks to MacBoost for shipping this one. Pours clear gold with a white cream crown. The nose holds sugary dough, white bread. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with touches of honey and cantaloupe, more white bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Smooth and sugary to finish. Great stuff.
